They also want to invite families to contribute their 'soul food' recipes to the project, details of how to do so are included in the sheets below.

Hi everyone,
I hope you are having a lovely Easter break and making the most of this beautiful sunshine. If you can’t get outdoors, open up all the curtains and windows and let the fresh air indoors.

Below is a free Information book explaining the Coronavirus virus for children, illustrated by Gruffalo illustrator Alex Scheffler.

The book answers key questions in simple language appropriate for 5 to 9 year olds:
• What is the coronavirus?
• How do you catch the coronavirus?
• What happens if you catch the coronavirus?
• Why are people worried about catching the coronavirus?
• Is there a cure for the coronavirus?
• Why are some places we normally go to closed?
• What can I do to help?
• What’s going to happen next?
